DESCRIPTION:The Conference on the Transition Away from Fossil Fuels is the first of its kind global gathering of nations\, organizations\, and citizens to develop a roadmap to end dependence on fossil fuels\, create community-owned renewable energy systems\, and advance international cooperation towards a just transition to renewables. \nJoin us for a conversation with MNIPL’s Analyah Schlaeger dos Santos and USCAN’s Shontaé Cannon-Buckley\, who both attended the Conference and played leadership roles in coordinating North American nonprofits\, civil service organizations\, and citizens. \nThey’ll share their takeaways from the conference\, and we’ll engage in a conversation about how Minnesotans take action in the global transition away from fossil fuels.
