Muslim Climate Action Circle
MNIPL is excited to host a Muslim Climate Action Circle similar to other faith-community specific circles within our network. The circle will center the values of Islamic teachings in approaching climate action, and the need for faith-based climate action and relationship building within the Muslim community. We’ll begin with an introductory circle, and then move into a shared climate action opportunities, training, guest speakers and learning opportunities, such as a shared reading of Green Deen: What Islam Teaches about Protecting the Planet by Ibrahim Abdul-Matin.
