Tell the PUC: Bring Back the Solar Options for Communities!
The Public Utilities Commission reduced the “Value of Solar” from community solar gardens in 2016, increasing barriers to community solar arrays by making many community solar projects unaffordable. For the past 2 years, they have been debating whether to create a “residential adder”, an addition to the value of solar, which would make residential community solar options (including for renters!) affordable for community developers!
If approved, this decision would reopen community solar gardens to residents. We need to show strong public support for this residential adder, so we need your help! Please join us Thursday, October 11th to show support for the residential adder and bring community solar back to Minnesota residents! RSVP here
