Terry Hokenson 

Terry has an M. Div. with a focus on social and political ethics. He is a recovering domestic relations attorney and semi-retired carpenter. He has been paying attention to peace, racial, and labor justice issues since the late 1960's. In 1979, he founded Northern Sun News to oppose nuclear, fossil fuels, and centralized energy systems and to promote energy conservation and renewables. He grew up Lutheran in rural areas and small towns in Texas and Minnesota and has been a Quaker for the last twenty years. He has been exploring the BWCA for 50 years and loves winter camping. He is the author of two young adult novels, The Winter Road (Front Street) and Leif’s Journey (Namelos).
