Rise and Repair: Rally for Indigenous Rights & Climate Justice

Join us at the State Capitol to call for bold legislative actions that advance equity, justice, and a transition to a renewable future! 

Schedule:

11am*-12:45pm – Training and lunch at Christ on Capitol Hill Lutheran Church, 105 University Ave. W. St. Paul 55103 (*Check in at the church for your legislative visit. Some visits are scheduled for 10:30 or 11am; for those people, please check in at the church 30 min prior to your meeting)

12:45 – 1pm – March from the church to the Capitol

1-2pm – Rally in the Capitol Rotunda;

2-4pm – Deliver postcards and meet with key legislators

GETTING THERE: Christ on Capitol Hill Church and the Capitol complex are accessible via Metro Transit on the Green Line, Capitol/Rice Street Station, as well as several bus lines. Parking is not allowed in the church parking lot, but free street parking is available in the surrounding area, especially northwest of Rice St and University Ave. There are also several paid lots close to the Capitol, see more at https://mn.gov/admin/citizen/buildings-grounds/parking/.
