Minnesota Interfaith Power & Light works in partnership with multifaith communities and all Minnesotans to co-create a just and sustainable world. Together, we build transformative power and bring the lights of people’s unique gifts to addressing the climate crisis.
Since our founding in 2004, we have helped grow the climate movement in Minnesota and across the United States and across the world. How? By empowering communities to take action that is authentic, effective, and energizing in their context.
We do this in multiple ways:
- Creating opportunities to decarbonize and build the resilience of our communities through practical support, education, and policy.
- Building healing justice in our local and global communities through reparations, Healing Minnesota Stories, and global repair.
- Creating a climate of justice for all living beings here in our state through policy, community building, and leadership development.
We believe it’s not enough to simply focus on the issues people care about. Instead, we strive to empower individuals to build a movement capable of creating a healthy, livable, and thriving world for all!
