In early 2020, eight members of St. Mark’s Climate Task Force attended a Clean Cars hearing in North Minneapolis. They decided to show up together to make public comments in support of the measure, which would increase the availability of electric and low-emission cars available to Minnesotans. They were supported in their efforts by St. Mark’s member, Esther Agbaje, newly elected as state representative of 59B. This experience was a great opportunity for St. Mark’s members to take climate action together and to bond as a group.
