CCRN September Gathering: Healing Democracy Through Community Care Teams Part 1
The Community Climate Resilience Network (CCRN) supports communities of faith, conscience, or spiritual practice to become centers of resilience for their neighbors in the face of climate disruption.
This fall communities are looking forward, with some anticipation, to a free and fair election. Our dream is that everyone is able to engage in the democratic process with confidence and clarity. As people process the mixture of emotions (fear, hope, uncertainty) we want to do that surrounded by love and community.
During our hour together the CCRN team will host community members who have participated in our resilience hub community of practice for a fishbowl conversation about how communities of faith, conscience, and spiritual or religious practice are uniquely poised to meet this moment. We will then break-out into facilitated rooms where we will discuss the process of engaging a “care team” in making the preparations for supporting community and holding space this fall.
