Climate Action Letter Drop at Rep. Phillips’ Office
Right now, Congress is considering what would be the most ambitious climate legislation ever passed. Over the next few weeks, we need to make sure our elected officials hear from their constituents of faith and conscience about the need for bold climate action! On Thursday, August 19 at 4 pm, join us outside Rep. Dean Phillips’ office in Minnetonka to make our voices heard. We will drop off a letter, signed by 3,400 faith leaders across the country, calling for bold federal climate legislation this summer. You can read the letter here.
We will meet in the parking lot outside his office and then drop off the letter shortly after 4 pm, taking a photo to share on social media. Please bring any signs or shirts from your faith community or related to climate change. This is a simple, fun, and powerful way to make sure Rep. Phillips supports this important climate bill!
