Climate Action Letter Drop at Sen. Klobuchar’s Office
Right now, Congress is considering what would be the most ambitious climate legislation ever passed. Over the next few weeks, we need to make sure our elected officials hear from their constituents of faith and conscience about the need for bold climate action. On Monday, August 16 at 4pm, join us outside Senator Amy Klobuchar’s office in Minneapolis to make our voices heard. We will drop off a letter, signed by 3,400 faith leaders across the country, calling for bold federal climate legislation this summer. You can read the letter here.
We will meet in the parking lot outside her office and then drop off the letter shortly after 4pm, taking a photo to share on social media. Please bring any signs or shirts from your faith community or related to climate change. This is a simple, fun, and powerful way to make sure Senator Klobuchar supports the climate bill this month!
