MNIPL works to create systemic change that leads to a more just and sustainable world. One way we do this is by advocating for climate justice and clean energy policies at the Minnesota Legislature. We know the power that people of faith have when we raise our voices together to push for bold climate action!
Join us virtually on February 15 to learn how to host a meeting with your state Senator. Gain the skills to share your climate story and advocate for investments in clean energy, energy efficiency, clean transportation, and climate resilience. Our representatives need to hear from us, and an important way to make this happen is through in-district meetings.
Whether you’ve attended dozens of these meetings or this is your first time, we’re here to support you! In this training, we will cover how to:
- schedule a meeting and set an agenda
- recruit attendees
- focus your message and tell a compelling story
Staff from MNIPL will be providing personal support to everyone who commits to holding a meeting this spring with your State Senator. You will also receive a written toolkit with all the details to guide you through the process.
