Statewide Meeting with Senator Tina Smith

U.S. Senator Tina Smith has been a champion for federal climate action, including the $555 billion climate provisions in the Build Back Better Act. If passed, this would be the largest-ever federal investment in clean energy!

It is critical that the Senate pass strong climate policies. Senator Smith needs to hear from people of faith and conscience this spring. We want to thank her for her leadership on the climate portions of the Build Back Better Act, and to urge her to continue pushing for this transformative legislation.

We have invited a few representative congregations to verbally share their climate stories during the meeting. But we intend to flood Senator Smith and her staff with all of our stories after the meeting.

We’re excited to gather hundreds of people representing faith and spiritual communities across Minnesota, all giving meaningful testimony to their values and care for the earth.
