Jean Hammink
Jean is a member of Unity Church Unitarian in St. Paul where she is working with the Sustainable Living Team on environmental and climate justice and sustainability. For the last 25 + years she has been a meditator and is a participant at Tergar Meditation Center in Minneapolis. Since 2019, Jean has volunteered for MNIPL as a Movement Builder, working to promote climate justice with Unitarian Universalist congregations in the metro area and across the state. Before her retirement the end of 2018, Jean had a small consulting business which she started after close to 40 years of working in nonprofit, corporate, and government sector leadership positions. Her consulting focused on leadership and organizational development, investing in organizations and the people who work in them to improve results “from the inside out” through training, coaching, and organizational consulting. Jean is especially grateful to have six grandchildren in her life, which has been a big part of her motivation for working on climate justice.
