#StopLine3 Rally at Minnesota Poor People’s Campaign

On June 4, 2018, rabbis, imams, priests, pastors, deacons, elders, and others among thousands of people of faith and conscience joined together at the Minnesota State Capitol to oppose the Line 3 pipeline. Speaking with one voice, we called for the state to reject the Enbridge Line 3 tar sands pipeline because of the harm it would do to the Anishinaabe people and the water.

We then marched to both Governor Dayton’s office and the state Public Utilities Commission to deliver an opposition letter signed by over 500 faith leaders. It was a powerful afternoon of prayer, song, and word from a range of incredible speakers. Watch the video below to hear Jim Bear Jacobs share a powerful message and the many reasons we hold to #StopLine3.

A huge thank you to the Minnesota Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival, for partnering with us to organize the rally, speakers, and march.
