Thank you: MNIPL Climate Justice Night

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who took part in MNIPL Climate Justice Night on March 5th. We recognize that we’re very fortunate to have spent this time together, as public health guidelines around the Covid-19 outbreak have shifted significantly since the event.

In response to Covid-19, we are postponing upcoming events or moving them online, while directing staff to work from home. At the same time, we’re collaborating to organize creatively using our phones and online tools. Please see our email from Friday for more information.

Thank you for all the ways you contributed to making MNIPL Climate Justice Night a success for our network. Every contribution and every dollar is valued and makes a difference.

Together we raised more than $45,000 to support interfaith climate organizing and MNIPL programs, including donations, tickets, sponsorships, raffle purchases, and the generous match from Gandhi Mahal Restaurant.

We appreciate your feedback and welcome your comments, suggestions, and ideas regarding the event in this survey.

Special thanks to Cathy Velasquez Eberhart and Teddie Potter for their generous volunteer time on our fundraising team to help plan the event. We’re grateful to the volunteers who helped out that night, including Anna, David, MaryJo, Tera, and Tess, and MNIPL board members.

Stay tuned for the online version of our annual report, designed beautifully by local artist Patricia Lamas. Look out for donation receipts in the mail this week.

Be well and safe, and take care to protect yourself and those close to you during the Covid-19 outbreak.
